Small Group classes
Please Note:
- Only 1 package can be used per student; packages cannot be shared.
- Small group classes of 2 to 8 students.
- Grade 10-12, Accounting (including Grade 9), Life Science, Mathematics, Physical Science (only one one-on-one or subject-specific class options available).
- Grade 1-12 Zulu (only one-on-one or subject-specific class options available).

My daughter Sohara started Afrikaans lessons with Jamie Lee in 2016 when she was in grade 7. Sohara hadn’t done Afrikaans until she got to grade 5 so she struggled with the subject and was failing the subject. This worried me as she is an A student in all of her other subjects .After a few months at Brain to Train Sohara was passing Afrikaans and just got better year on year . I can highly recommend Brain2Train to help you with your child’s development and with his/her school work. I found that in class, teachers don’t have enough time to help the child individually and many times they go home not understanding what the lesson was all about. This adds to parent’s frustration as we don’t have time in the evening to help our kids, that’s why Brain2Train is the best thing for me. They help my son with homework as well as extra lessons on subjects he is not coping with. My son has excelled at school and his marks are always excellent and it has built a lot of self-confidence in him.

I was at my wits end, my daughter’s Afrikaans marks were dwindling and the less than 30 minute weekly extra lesson offered at school was not the solution. My daughter was in a complete state and her final term of Grade 8 was fast approaching. I was unable to assist as my knowledge of the Afrikaans language is minimal, and we were now desperate, until I was given a contact number for Jamie-Lee at Brain2Train.
My prayers had been answered and we had found our Angel.
From the onset Jamie-Lee went into action to assist, offering 90 minute lessons to get my daughter up to speed whilst conducting these lessons outside of normal hours and on Saturdays and Sundays.
Jamie-Lee advised that one lesson a week was not sufficient and my daughter needed at least two lessons of 60 minutes each a week. I thought this was excessive, but I was proven wrong and the results obtained in such a short space of time where amazing.
Jamie-Lee’s guidance was outstanding and the support she provided during and after each session, was beyond incredible. She called or sent messages ahead of each test or exam written, and her encouragement pre and post this was always positive and uplifting.
I am delighted to say my daughter is now in Grade 10 and loves Afrikaans, enjoys speaking it and continues to gain marks in excess of 85% with her achieving 100% in a most recent exam taken.
My daughter no longer has to attend extra lessons, but we certainly miss Jamie-Lee and the Brain-2-Train team immensely.
I have no hesitation in recommending Brain2Train to anyone who may be questioning whether their child/children require extra assistance.
